In 1938 Geoffrey Handy started an ironmonger's business in Swindon. Over the years, the company expanded into hardware, bottled gas and lawnmowers before becoming the specialised garden machinery business that is known today as Handy Distribution.

Handy is the UK’s Largest Independent Garden Machinery Wholesale Distributor, supplying a wide range of customers including over 200 specialist dealers nationwide, large national retailers, garden centres and mail order companies.
